Don't have the Desire but have an HTC Touch Diamond and an o2 Exec which is also an HTC phone. Both tend to be difficult to sync with the car and the Diamond constantly looses connection.
I have had HTC phones for the last 6 years and will continue to buy. them Simon

Hi,

Currently using an HTC Hero (Android 1.5) and had no problems with connection over the last 10 months. I think the Desire comes with Android 2.1 but I cant see that making any difference to it's bluetooth connections. Baltic blue XS - Alpaca Leather - 18" HSE wheels.

The desire is a good phone - but the current android daddy is the Samsung Galaxy S. Just been released last week.
Amazing 4" super oled screen, faster processor, better camera (but no flash), better 'swipe' onscreen keyboard. Really good reviews.

I have just ordered one.
