New car checks ?

Just wondering if anyone has any useful tips I should know for when I pick up my new FL2 in a few weeks.
I've never bought a brand new car before and thought it would be good to get all your top tips (checks to make, insurance certificates I might need to take, etc, etc ) ! Bow down
