It has also been proven that black paint gives a lower drag coefficient when travelling at speed thus allowing vehicles in this colour to travel faster whilst using less fuel than vehicles covered in the other less desirable colours Cool

oh and perform better off road too Thumbs Up freelander 2 SE black and beige - now sold

If you're barmy enough to let a woman choose your car you deserve to drive round in a white one.... Wink

My last FL1 was black.
Spent over 12 months working in a limestone quarry - driving into the constuction site every day.
Black and limestone not a good colour combination.
White would have been better but who in thier right mind would buy a white car?

Superguard when bought, then drive-through car wash every weekday, IMO car wash every Saturday, local valeter polished it once a month. looked great once a month.
When I traded it in the sales guy said" Oh superguard that's why the paintwork looks like new" Censored

NEVER EVER want black again.

New car has black interior - have you ever tried to get lime dust out of black seat belts, I know a valeter that has, not a happy chappie. Thank goodness I have turned the seat belt chime off, for when driving around the quarry. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner
