Driving a Galway Green 2010 HSE Auto at the moment while the D3 gets a bit of Yeovil Love. VERY nice colour and I have to say not a bad car, although driving like a granny I'm only getting 32mpg, which is no better than my D3 Auto. I test drove a 110 DC in the same colour a couple of weeks back and I have to say it do look the bizz....

In the first 200 miles or so I'm averaging 40mpg..it has dropped down from about 42 as Ive been doing a fair bit of town driving and the stop start doesn't work in the hot weather.

Personally, I would have waited for ther new 2011MY car. It will be a better car than the current car. Thats what facelifts are all about, a manufacturer revises the styling, and puts right many of the niggles of the previous car along with new improvements.

if you are in the uk there might be a VAT increase... depends whether LR have anticipated and prepared to reduce the cost? |

Don't listen to them - patience my eye, every day you waste is a day you rob yourself from driveing your FL2.

I'd buy one a couple of years old-from when the build quality was up to scratch-from what you lot say the build quality is deteriating with the success and extra sales |

So do I because we just ordered an HSE Auto in Santorini Black with Almond leather, privacy and xenons. Waiting until September/October would have been a pain for us, also there could well be a LR price rise and an increase in VAT too. So we negotiated best we could (hard work at our local dealer, they didn't want to give anything away..) and took the plunge. We hope to keep the thing for 7-10 years so the depreciation of 2010MY vs 2011MY will be long forgotten about. |
