Does the AC works well, it could be that water has been collected in the AC evaporator housing due to blocked hose. Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto

Mine has a very similar noise but it appears to come from behind the instrument cluster. I've worked out that it only does it in the wet so it must be some kind of drain tube or something thats partly blocked. Warranty is out so i've learnt to live with it. Maybe one day i'll pull the dash apart and have a look.
