Hi,
have had a new 2010 TD4e Freelander for about 3 weeks now... So far, nothing whatsoever to report aside from it being a great car!

Slight bit if movement (1mm) in driver seat

poor mpg, but lots of shirt journeys

tiny rust spots in channel near roof rails, not sure if it's the car of something caught in there rusting

Great car though Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Mine has slight vibration over 130 km/h. I complained and they checked tyres etc. with no luck. They believe that it' s caused by one or more driveshafts or axles.

Spare parts ordered, they will check by replacing bit by bit next week or so, when the car is in for first service. The tech manager at dealer said their courtesy car shows similar symptoms, not as much as my car, but he was worried that one might develop to same level as mine soon.

Beside that the car is ok. 2010 Freelander 2 Select TD4 auto....gone

Mine will be 3 years old in September and has done 38,000 trouble free miles.

Still looks and drives as good as when it was new.

Like many people I'm keen to understand what the facelift brings as I would like a bit more performance and better MPG, if thats not asking for too much! 2011 SD4 HSE Ipanema Sand

Just noticed another users post about the 5cly diesel, 225bhp. if this is true will it be the volvo D5, which I assume the chassis is alrady engineered for, as its built for the 6cly pterol which is also the volvo unit used in the XC60,
in addition I believe Volvo use the same auto gearbox. If they can keep the cost reasonable it would be a great car, although to be honest I find 160bhp sufficient.
