2008 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Baltic Blue
Wanted Drinks/Meal Tray

On the very odd occaision when the weather in this country (UK) prevents you from taking a break outside the vehicle the FL2 is sadly lacking in useful horizontal surfaces for placing snacks drinks etc. The cup holders are OK as far as they go. Great vehicle though. Just wondered if anyone had any sensible ideas. I am prepared for this topic to drift off into Python Land but hopefully before this happens some of you may have found a product or some other solution.

Regards,

AndrewPRD

There are usually a few things in the freebie gizmo mags that come through the door. There is one that hooks over the steering wheel istr. Also, just found these :- Tray Tables We Don't Care About Pot Holes !!

Thank you for that. Might consider. Very reasonable cost.

Did wonder if there was anything like a profiled tray that would make use of the large sloping area where the passengers airbag is located. Only to be used when parked of course.

I have only had my FL2 a week and still discovering features I didn't know about.

Very friendly and helpful forum.
