Beat you too it! Just traded my gorgeous new RRS for a FL2! Agree about the horrible ride with the Audi's. I test drove the Honda CRV too, larger, cheaper, far better equipped, but I couldn't hear myself over the road noise in the cabin. Shame.

The LRX is on my list for next year.To start with it's going to be a 3 door wagon, too small for my needs...

Hi everyone, I'm thinking of buying an FL2 HSE (Auto)which here in Portugal will cost me around 64,000 Euros but have the possibility of buying a 2007my RRS HSE (full extras, with 82,000 kms) for 62,000 Euros (list new is 106,000 Euors). Which do you think is the better deal ? |

No.....Q5 is a whole lot better proportion wise compared to a Q7. Surprisingly I don't find the interior to be much smaller than the RRS. The interior is a really nice place to be with all the accessories that LR can never seem to offer including full integration of the iPod. Bigger boot than the FL2. Any way decision now made...........I will not be joining you proud FL2 owners ...as I have now ordered a Q5 3.0 TDI S Line on 19" wheels. 0-60mph in 6.5 secs Also bought a 5 year manufacturers warranty for a very small charge compared to LR. But thanks for taking the time to answer all my questions |

Hello Josh, Sorry to say it but you'll need that warranty. I've had two Audi's an A4 and an A6 Allroad. Both were in and out of the dealer, either for electric gremlins - 2 new a/cs, new sunroof motors, break calibre alignment problems, it goes on and I won't bore you. I have one friend with a Q5 bought 18 months ago. That's been in to the dealer at least 3 times with gearing problems. No doubt they are seductively designed and well appointed but reliability is not their strong suit, no matter what the advert says. Good luck and happy motoring. |
