dont think the 16" wheels fit the gas lr2 only the diesel one. different brakes apparently???? At work

Check ebay for genuine FL2 wheels and tyres. 17" 235/65x17 as standard on GS and SE will fit perfectly.

Thanks everyone for your input. Going with the 17" wheels with 235/65 17 for the winter tires and will keep the 19" for summer. Thanks again. Doug

CG is right the 16in wheels do not fit on the i6 as I have found out as the brakes are larger and there are also other improvements to the drive train also to handle the extra 80ish HP. |

CG, your knowledge/expertise of the Freelander including rim sizes was (and is) never in question and is far superior to mine - but on the subject of wheel rim 'style'......now that's another story |
