My favourite method of removing the glue is white spirit and if this does not work I use methylated spirits which also removes felt tip pen by the way. Tattoos - Why would you choose to look like the wall of a public toilet? |

The best way to remove any sticker or decal (eg GB badge) is to heat it up first with a hair drier; then as you det a corner to lift heat and peel at the same time. A touch of meths on a cloth will take of any sticky residue.

Having gone to Croatia last year we had to have one on the car and caravan. As soon as I got back to the EU I peeled them off as I have euro plates. I only know from lessons learnt over the years of buying used cars and trying to remove the "We've been to Longleat" badges etc left by former owners. Freelander 2.2e HSE , Privacy, Fully debadged, 19" Chrome SHadow alloys |
