Chris, Thats extremely helpful thanks. We have removed the gearselector and put it back successfully. (it required a yank after twisting the catch) However, (I'm not sure if I inherited this when we bought the car) but the lever that releases the selector from 'P'ark to 'D'rive is not effective, namely I can slip the lever from park into drive without depressing the switch - did you have this problem? any idea how to fix it? Thanks a again. |
