They had the vehicle I wanted. Great old fashioned service - returned my calls when they said they would, did a good deal and had it ready on time; what more can you ask for these days!

My local Wiltshire dealer could not be competitive on price and the salesman backed down on a price he quoted in error wanting another £1k.

A Berkshire dealer who I had purchased 2 vehicles from previously wound me up with there aggressive sales techniques! Originally looking at a Defender I test drove on the Saturday, had a text message by 8.30 on the Monday followed by 2 home & 2 mobile messages by lunchtime trying to chase me up. I was working away until Thursday so told him I would get in touch upon my return - on the phone again by Wednesday leaving me messages and hassling the wife at home. My plans to return at the weekend with an order resulted in an e mail telling him never to contact me again. Needs to go back to sales school....

I got my FL2 from Stratstone, Edinburgh where the salesman was very helpful, unfortunatly when I went to pick up the car they had forgot to fit the roof rails and I had to go back a few days later.

Glad to see i am not the only one who is happy with stratstones.

Stratstones in Aylesbury have just been very good at sorting out a few warranty issues/niggles for me right at the very end of warranty.

Stratstone at Houghton le Spring, Co. Durham very good, not only with sales but follow up phone calls and a few minor warranty fixes. Only problem has been the supply of a new key, got the blade, fairly quickly but the transponder took 6 weeks apparently down to LR supplying the dealers. JRS
