Can you link the satnav screen into rear DVD'screens

Had a RR Vogue as a loan car last week (whilst my 'sunroof' version roofrails were being fitted) and it had a TV in the front dash, which was also the sat nav, and a host of other menu gadgets.... Idea Idea so was wondering if I got an ICE expert to retro fit rear screens in the front headrests and a DVD player........could he wire it such that the satnav screen, at the flick of a switch could view either the trasmission from the dvd player, or view the sat nav. In essence the screen is only a monitor, so I assume any 'picture' transmission hardware (if you know what you are doing) can be plugged/ switched into it Question

Any ideas or experience on this anyone???

I am going to see the ICE guy this weekend hopefully

A friend told me that it is possible. I was wandering the same thing as I would like to have a tv on there. My friend told me that it's even possible to use the touch functionality for a tv tuner. I'll double check tomorrow and let you know.

When I was first looking at the FL2 I was think of getting an aftermarket satnav system and that lead me to finding that Kenwood and Alpine have a hub system that directly integrates with a cars standard audio system and whatever else you may have.

Basically they simply plug into your system and then you can use the standard touchscreen of the sat nav (or install one) to control any audio and visual equipment that is connected. I also read the Alpine one can show the car Trip info on the touchscreen as well. I did most of my reading on the Alpine system and cannot find much on the Kenwood, but guessing it would work in a similar way.
