That doesn't suprise me at all. BMW's are & have been for a long time over rated but it will sell because of the badge! (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

I did shamefully test drive an X3 amongst many others, seat was comfortable but other than that it didnt seem to have much going for it, driving position was like being in a saloon. Sport LE Lago Grey

BMW X3. I wouldn't have one even if I was given it! (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

The X1 is a Micky Mouse SUV-look-a-like, popular with women and 4x4 wannabe owner’s.
Maybe the X3 replacement will be more competition for LR.

Regardless of all LR appraisal (me included) on this forum LR do not match up to BMW build quality and choice of cosmetic materials. LR on the other hand, win on terrain driving qualities, something that most LR owners never experience. It would seem that LR is popular in the UK due to the British brand name, but in Europe BMW dominate and I guess always will unless you have terrain driving requirements for your vehicle. In most (all) European car tests comparing the FL2 and X3, it’s the BMW that win. 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc.

I owned a 1 series when they first came out. It was great. Yes it was more expensive than a Golf, but it was an incredible grin... There is a 135i mentioned in that piece. I will have one of those one day. It is just an awesome car for the money....

I was interested to see where the X1 would go to be honest, and I think that Clarksons review is so far off the mark it isn't true.

He hasn't mentioned the fact that they are dangerous, lethally so. If you see one driving down the towards you it is almost impossible to not crash. If the hysterics don't get you, the tears or stomach cramps will. Your are bound to hit incoming traffic.

Just really dull and stupid. I love it when car companies fumble the ball!! Hi Darling, I'll be home in 10 mins. If I'm not back, please read this message again...
