has anyone got a Thule ClipOn High 9105/9106 bike carrier on their FL2?
Or do you know if it is compatible?

I have a Thule clip on cycle carrier that I have been meaning to check if it fits. Although I don't know exactly which model it is, it was previously used on a Mk2 Focus. I will post again once I had tried it.

Just looked on the Thule website and it looks as if they say that it is either the "Freeway 968" or the "Clip-on 9104" that fits.

I have since contacted Thule, and they told me it wasn't compatible.
I have bought the Mont Blanc S2 easygrip, and with the proper fitting kit it's spot on! sturdy and no need for a light bar!

I bought the Mont Blanc S3 easygrip from amazon, good solid bike carrier, holds three bikes up above the number plate, no need for a lighting board, happy days  Lago Grey 2.2 s td4..e

I just bought and fitted a halfords high mount bike rack, Its support sits on the rear window in the wiper area, so at first I removed the wiper arm but then thought again and removed fuse 20 under the glove box to prevent the wiper ever moving. an easy job after finding the fuse removal tool in the under bonnet fuse box. the water squirt still works but at least the wiper wont start itself if I select reverse on a rainy day  At work

The best bike rack type fit on the towbar and Thule make several excellent types. They can be tilted with bikes mounted to allow access to the boot and lighting and number plate are built in. Most sensible choice for those of us with TOWBARS  2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc.

If you have a Silver FL2 your in luck cos the Thule come colour coded - otherwise you will have to get a respray or change your ride for a silver 1
Not sure about the ipod connector, but try stuffing chickens in the fuel filler hole - that may help  2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

I bought a Thule ClipOn 9104 and fit perfectly. but if you have a spoiler, it won't fit.

I have two bike racks one which goes on the tailgate which holds only three bikes which I think is a Halfords one and the other is Hlafords roof rails for the old model of Freelander which I have modified to fit the current roof rails and fitted four bike carriers on the roof.

The only issue I have is getting the two middle bikes in place. fotunately they are for my 7 and 8 year old boys so are not that big but I still have to stand on the rear wheel to get up and secure them in place even tho I am 6ft 2in.

Cannot use a towbar mount as we need that for the caravan.

Bikes on top of the FL2 won't you have to avoid low bridges  Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I just fitted a Maxxraxx cycle carrier to my HSE. It's the dogs, we have a thule system roof rack for our Clio 182,and the cycle carriers for that are ace but I just didnt think access for 3 mountain bikes on the roof of the Landie was a good plan being Hobbit esque in height...Maxx carries 4 bikes, mounts to the towbar,still allows me to tow (nothing to tow mind you!) and I can hinge the whole thing back to allow the back hatch to open, with the bikes still on the rack,only takes a couple of minutes to attach the rack too,once the initial fitting of the base is done.Bloody marvellous.Mate recommeded it to me as I had never heard of them! Cost £275 from Maxxraxx with light board and hanger.
