COMPUTER MESSAGE
For the last couple of months i have been getting an unusual message on start up.
After inserting the "key " and pressing the start button, the total klm reading appears as normal and underneath this the trip klm reading. Then the trip klm reading is replaced, for about 10 seconds only, by 5r5. then the trip klm reading comes back again.
Have taken it to the dealer, their computor shows nothing and they say they have never seen it before and they say they have checked with LR and they also know nothing of this fault code
The r could be a small right angle made up of to lines touching at one end but it never stays in place long enough to be sure .
Has anyone out there come across this fault code:?:

Many thanks. Have not been aware of forum until recently so didnt see the 2008 ref to this message. Must get new glasses or it could be old age creeping in.Will also get the dealer updated as they should have picked up on the possibility of me reading 5 for S.
