2010 Freelander 2 TD4 Sport Manual Santorini Black
Seat covers

Has anyone got any suggestions for some waterproof seat covers, please. My new Freelander Sport LE has the most impractical light grey seat centres and i've got a dog and two kids not a good combination!

They would have to stay on most of the time. I bought a Town and country rear cover which is quite good but cnnot seem to get front ones anywhere.
Cool

Hi Boof,

check out the emergency seat covers (official LR) on ebay, go about 10 pounds each. You can put them on whenever you don't want the seats to get dirty and are washable. I use them when I go scuba diving/swimming e.t.c. on Sport LE too. (summer is finally here!!) Very Happy

The seat airbag going off inside a generic seat cover that doesn't rip in all the right places is a messy and painful business - i have seen the aftermath, you guys be careful Thumbs Up . Sometimes getting the genuine LR accessory is worth it, and in my opinion this is one of those times. I do remember an after market co making some with "velcro" flap that is meant to burst open, if i remember their name i'll post it for ya

Thanks for your thoughts. I have ordered two genuine LR emergency covers for £10 each through Guy Salmon on Ebay. I have rear one so these should be ok for the amount of time i need them on. Thanks again Thumbs Up
