I have one myself, it is really good fun especially for any photographers out there as you can take your portfolio everywhere you go and even connect your camera for on the spot displaying of photos.

What's the warranty situation with it been bought in the US of A Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

very impressed with it, I am using it as a laptop substitute as its powerful enough for photo editing directly from my camera while I am away. Watched 10+ hours of video on the way home from US and still some bat left over. its LED backlit like the new iMacs. makes the iPhone look very slow.

Everything is compatible apart from the plug but they can be changed for UK ones for something like £15, I cant connect to the app store until the iPad comes out in the UK.

Not sure about the warranty but I also bought an iPod from the USA 3 years ago and the warranty was valid in the uk when i needed it. Unlike allot of companies Apple make there products to be universal - as I logged in to my UK itunes account the ipad set it self up for UK english.

Did I read there was a recall due to WiFi? antenna positioning or something? 3G version being released in usa soon

3G one being released over here soon as well - O2 & Voda are releasing them
