The pressure plate has a form of self adjuster which get clogged up with clutch plate dust etc and then stops the clutch self adjusting, hence the clutch slip.

Got my clutch replaced under warranty at 38000 miles on a 07 plate XS.

My clutch is showing similar symptoms at 28,000 miles. It's booked into Stratstones next week to look at this along with other problems. |
