The tyre pressure monitor fitted in the tyres works on 315MHZ & the UK spec ones are 433MHZ. If you fit the wrong spec wheels & tyres to your car & there is a fault with either the tyre or the wheel LANDROVER will refuse to pay out under the warranty = Total rip off & you would think they were working with the Government with that statement especially when the FL2 doesn't even have the monitoring system fitted anyway!

That is what I was told too but they are yes produced in the same place but for a different market though.

The point was ..... you intmated that the warranty would be affected, Dan was simply confirming that this would not be the case.

Considering you work for LR, rather than taking the mick I would sugest that someone looks into who is telling the truth & who is not as I POSTED WHAT I WAS TOLD by your dealer network & your factory!!!

I was prepared to buy a set of these wheels from one of YOUR dealers but I did not because I was told about the warranty issue & what is obviously a load of old rubbish about tyre pressure monitors!! Ultimately LR lost out because of this.

Like I said I only posted what others have told me (2nd hand info) so if there is a problem with the info I have posted then what can I do? I havn't made anything up just simply told what was said to me which was intended to help other members out so whether that is correct info or not is something I have no control over and is something that possibly Landrover may need to look into as it was them & a LR dealer that gave the info in the first place, so there is little point in digging at me at all!
