I sometimes don't remove my detachable if I will be using it again the next day and have found that it has no effect on the reversing sensors whatsoever. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

No problems wtih just the towbar on but you put a bike rack or a trailer behind you and it lets you know!!! most annoying - thats why the car needs to be reprogrammed to turn off the rear sensors when you have electrics hooked up!! There's always a way forward!

I had a Witter detachable towbar fitted recently, together with the dedicated (plug-in) wiring kit.
