Production delayed?

Is the Freelander 2 production delayed? My dealer says that manual diesels will be arriving to Finland in February and auto petrols in April. My undestanding during the initial launch was that production would ramp up faster. Should we be concerned over early ramp-up difficulties?

Re: Production delayed?

Since the UK motorshow launch UK availability has always been quoted as "December". To be honest I'm not sure what LR's position on export sales has been but I seem to remember February quoted for US availablility -- if so then February in Finland may not be "delayed" as such Question Bill

I understood that auto diesels were never going to be available til March / April 2007 but I thought that Petrol manual and autos and diesel manuals were sometime in December in the UK at least.
Here is Australia they are quoted "mid 2007" for the actual availability so I guess that LR are not going to introduce the vehicle at all until after the auto diesel is available.
