So, today I picked up my shiny new Freelander 2 XS with leather pack. It is lovely and I am very pleased with it, although the separate controls and headphone sockets in the back were missing.

The salesman at the dealership said that they had been deleted from the freelander with the new 2010 models. Is this true? I specifically made sure to check with him at the time of ordering that they were included and he said that they were, so I am annoyed at him for the mistake, but if they aren't even an option anymore then there's nothing to be done about it.

What do you all think?

Check the spec-sheet that you ordered. If the controls are on there,take it back to the stealer and demand a retro-fit. We Don't Care About Pot Holes !!

They were standard at the beginning of 2010 spec vehicles as mine has them though never used them or even sure what they do.
When I collected it on 28th November I was told that mine was one of the last to have them fitted as standard along with the spare wheel.
