Got my new wheels on Saturday and have to say i love it. Thanks for all the advice and tips on the site- very useful when at the dealer. A few pleasant surprises too, it came with privacy glass which was not expected and a full Supaguard protection including valet bag- nice!

Now to get insurance, have a quote for £317 which seems very reasonable. Have had the issue with the "sport" not being listed on many search engines but am assured the DVLA will be updating its system 31 March.

Just a comment on insurance

Confused = no Sport LE

Moneysupermarket = Sport LE

Meerkats = Sport LE

GO Compare = Sport LE

CO OP = Sport LE

LV = no Sport LE

LR Insurance = no Sport LE

Hope this helps, LV are the best for cheap quotes but getting things added really pushes up the costs, ive been told LV should have Sport LE by end of month

I used the "tiger" search engine and got a quote from a company called "seeus2save" for £317 which is cheap but as I haven't heard of them before I was nervous! However, this will be underwriten by ABC Insurance who also underwrite the quote I have from Admiral for £400!!! All abit nuts but at the end of the day if they both use ABC I don't see what the difference is even though Admiral is more of a household name.

How does the LE compare to the BMW ??? I made the move from a MERC-BENZ & have not regreted it at all  If I had all the money I spent on Beer!, I'd spend it on Beer!.

Totally different car obviously but not one complaint so far. Sure the LR won't hug the bends at 60mph but the drive is fantastic. Actually very pleased at the spec and quality of the car- it has all the luxury of the BMW and then some considering some regard the FL2 as the poor brother of the LR range! If a 28k car is poor then the country is alot more well off than i thought1

Anyway no regrets so far, just wish I knew how do put pics on this site...
