Watches.

Having seen all the posts on this subject I have spoken to our local old fashioned "watch maker/repairer" and in his opinion "if you pay more than £250 for a watch you are purchasing jewellery.

Taking this a step further as per my previous post I have a fifty quid Bulova but do not really need that as every mobile phone has a built in clock/stopwatch. Life Honorary Member of Wallasey Motor Club.

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Rimini Red

Hi, all

Adding my penny's worth i work in an industry where the Rolex omegas and such like are built for, not many of us use them for the purpose they are built for,due to the poor time keeping and build quality of some of the models!. i have been on a job where 2 rolex draw dewellers blew to bits due to escape valve faliure's .and another instance on the new model draw deweller the numbers fell of the face this is almost 6 grand of watch in the UK, best of sticking to good old G Shocks.

sea deweller = draw dewellers due normally to being wrapped in a sock and left in your kit bag until de-mob.

Ps. if you are still looking to get a fancy watch i belive Norway is still one of the cheapest place's to buy them due to the tax back for tourists at the airport!.
