I would challenge that Vespa. If it was free parking then the council/company that runs the carpark has not lost any revenue so they might find it difficult to enforce. ______________________

A suggestion culled from the D3 boys for this problem, is to get the car really really dirty, not just a bit grubby but good quantities of mud all down the side. They may have no respect for your property but they hate getting their Burburry mucky. |

Thanks Dave. It was a council run car park and I have just sent them a long email rant along those lines you suggest. |

my local council run site says "parking in marked spaces only" by not been in a marked space, and been in two you'll find they might not do anything

Surely he was parked in marked spaces - two to be precise ! Possible defence would be the car next to you was over the line and you were forced to do likewise obviously he had left prior to the ticket being issued I would also check for signage warning of liability of penalty no notice puts you in a strong position |

Some t?*t has put a dent in the rear o/s door while the wife had the car yesterday (she didn't even notice it which is no surprise) fortunately the paint hasn't been damaged (cue dent wizard I think). I couldn't beleive it, the car isn't even a month old, and yes she has now had the lecture on how and where to park next time!

Why don't they just make the spaces bigger ? The only place where i use "normal" spaces is Costco, as they have toms of room either side of the parking bay. |

Personally i think they should put extra wide bays at the far end of the carpark as these are little used anyway and would at least give the option to those that want it. |
