I was hoping someone would ask, ta avtur. Wink

Td4, manual, GS spec, Baltic blue, chrome mirror caps Thumbs Up , sidesteps and rubber mats.

I got a fantastic deal on new 57 model even though I usually don't buy new cars.

Can't wait till next sat, are there any options I can spec on the PDI, one click opening, light activation etc?

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Options

Would you have use for the roof rails and the DVD entertainment system? I purchased an LR2 a few weeks ago and opted to have the dealer install these options so as to increase our cargo space (I plan on adding a Thule roofrack system to the rails) and to help keep our child entertained on long trips- when she gets old enough that is ; )

And congrats on the purchase- I'm sure you'll love her when you drive off!

No kids thank god so won't need the DVD and I've checked and my snowboard stuff will fit inside with the seats down so no need for a roofrack, sorry roofbars.

Hope I've done the right thing with the mirror caps, it doesn't look too bling the dealers have one in the showroom.

Hi Joe1978,

Well done with the purchase my friend Thumbs Up To preserve her perfect flanks get the side rubbing strips, looks great and is cheaper than a call to 'Chipsaway' or some other call out repair service. Also clear side repeaters which look 'wicked' and if you get from www.sixonetwo.co.uk he will do you a good price if you mention the forum. Some of the guys have posted pictures, best getting the clear ones, look so much better than orange (unless you had Tambora.....which you don't), don't get smoked either...must be clear Thumbs Up. I will post some picks of my replacement auto HSE once I stop driving it Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter its an absolute dream Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Good luck fella and keep in touch, even if you have problems, thats what we are here for.

PS Martin have you sent my Freel2.com stickers yet????? nowt in the post hope to see them Mon/ Tue since you send suff at the weekends Bow down Bow down Thumbs Up

Ta Carlfraz. I might get the strips yet, can't decide. The clear lenses are a must though they do look ace!! I want the stainless steel tread plates for the interior too, it'll make up for the lack of pixel metallic trim. I'm sure there'll be plenty of questions I'll be asking I won't be a stranger, promise.

Ref the stainless steel trim plates, my first ones fitted like a dream - perfect. On the buy back the things would not stay stuck on Big Cry Big Cry kept falling off Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter The fold on the plate was too deep for the rear seat plates, so the stealer reordered them. The new ones seem to be holding OK, they are only held in place by double sided tape but look so much nicer when you open the doors. The ridged plastic compared to stainless steel looks 10 , no 100 times better Thumbs Up Will post some of thes pics too in the next day or so.

As you say you are really anal about detail....is your Start /Stop button straight Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter
