2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e S Manual Stornoway Grey

Literally just ordered a set of Window Sox for my FL2 (already have some for our other car and we used them all last summer) - They are excellent and are only £27 per pair so much cheaper than privacy film / glass. You can also open the windows with them on and UV and insects are still kept out of the rear of the car and off your kids. www.windowsox.co.uk is the UK importers website.

Any pics lypsyl ? I was considering privacy film but if these look OK I will consider them, they don't seem to be available on the link you posted for a FL 2 did you ring to order them. I did find these which I think are the same but not sure and 10 quid dearer than yours.

Good choice lypsyl, I bought a set for my D3 in 2005 when they were on offer for £55. Two D3s and 4 years later they still looked great and I sold them for £70 when I bought the FL2. They were made by a firm in Mansfield called OESunshades which the D3 boys are sure UVSunsahdes are the same people Thumbs Up A Land Rover owner since 1988

The only issue is that I need to get some shades/tints now, as the large side windows allow a lot of light onto the back seats, and our new baby, in her chair.

The reason I didn't want tints/film is that I'm due to trade in our FL2 in the summer, so thought the removable shades would come with us, or be sold when we get another FL2, with factory tints this time.

So £300 for 4-5 months is a lot, where as something I can sell on eBay later on is a better buy.

Nice ideas though, should really have gone with tinted windows when I bought it.

Got some shades from A1 motorstores. Custom made and you can have the windows down with the shade still in place. About £100. My experience of after market window tint was not good so we had these. 2009 FL2 GS
