Alarm going off when I open the boot?

Suddenly started today? Basically, the car is locked & as normal I unlock the boot ONLY to get stuff out, which unlocks no probs...but when I physically open it, the alarm goes off? Has anybody noticed this before, I've had the car for over 18months and it's never ever done this before? Shocked

Its happened before, disconnect the battery, put the kettle on have a cuppa and connect the battery back up, this seems to have worked in the past.
