The standard of advertising is perhaps representative of their business model. I wouldn't broddle them with a sh!tty stick. They rely on taking advantage of people who may be easily convinced with a poor valuation, or those who are perhaps in 'money trouble'. |

I know when I was selling my td4 FL1 I contacted them through there site. They offered me £1550 wasnt enough so I sold it privately got £2550. Just shows the difference ey. Trouble is they still keep emailing me - I did all this back in 2008 leave me alone !

WBAC is almost the most annoying advert ever - Just tipped off no 1 by the pratt attempting opera singing in "Go Compare" Aaaarrrggggg... ....Gets me reaching for the remote every time.

I recently (within last 3 weeks) sold 2 cars with WBAC and found them to be ok. For one of the cars I sold to them I got £1500 more than was offered by my local LR dealer against a new FL2 and the other car was sold at book price. Yes they do go over the cars with a fine tooth comb but as long as you are honest with the condition/defects when you get the indicative price and have a price you are realistic with and stick to it which seemed to work ok for me. Both cars I sold I was knocked down £245 and £350 respectively on £4245 and £8350 indicative quotes. I did also stress I was not desperate to sell which may of helped with the negotiations as I imagine they would prey on that! |

I think you'll find its possibly the acquisitions arm of CarCraft or they supply car super stores and I very much doubt they'd make much money through the auctions. |

Sadly the annoyance factor has made you remember it so mission accomplished for the advertising boys. Now if only the guy from go compare and the guy from WBAC could fight to the death on live tv.... |
