United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Izmir Blue

Black 1.9 Kombi with factory privacy glass on side and rear windows, seats in the middle and dog cages in the back. It used to look really nice but the Mrs has a track record of taking perfectly good vehicles and turning them into a virtually worthless pile of s Censored te due to sheer carelessness and neglect! It used to really bother me but I've given up. As a result she'll have to keep this one until it's run into the ground. No surprise that she's not getting her hands on the keys to the FL2!

My drivers side nearly got taken out by a Discovery 3 in Gillingham a few days ago as he went round a sharp corner too fast in the snow but luckily I got out of the way! Rolling with laughter

Simon, don't know how you could have suffered the dink that long. It would get on my nerves.

United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Stornoway Grey

Took my two week old company Vectra SRi estate through the carwash at the local garage. Something went wrong with it and the two side brushes didn't separate correctly. Que grinding and mashing of both front wings and front bumper Shocked

Drawing the picture on the claim form was hillarious Laughing We Don't Care About Pot Holes !!

Similar but different

Years ago, the loan company were due the very next day to come and collect my pristine white sporty Peugeot 306 as I wanted out of the finance deal. Reversing out of my drive, I heard a crunch on the left side. I realised I'd somehow swerved into the red car behind, badly denting the passenger door. Nice red dented door and both front & rear left wings needed replacing on the Peugeot, with scratches all down the fornt wing and doors of the Fiesta. A bit of a delay before I could hand the white Pug back to the finance company - but when the guy came to collect it 2 weeks late, he said it was in immaculate order and congratulated me on keeping the car so well!
Further to that though, the car I swerved into was actually our own car as well, so the other half's insurance picked up the repairs on that - although, being an older Fiesta, the right hand side once repaired looked immaculate, but the rest of the car was a dull, weathered red. When viewed from the right hand side, it looked showroom perfect, however, walk round the other side and it was far from that!
To this day, I still claim my Peugeot knew I was getting rid of him and caused me to swerve. It was funny trying to explain to both insurance companies that I'd crashed into my own car. FL2 GS Auto, Stornaway Grey called Broooce. Side Steps, flaps, Bluetoth and DAB radio.
