Have to agree with the last post about a remap and especially about the TD5 what a differnce it made.

We have had our old Skoda 110TDi remapped with very good results, it was well out of warranty, so no issues.

It sounds to me like a massive increase. 160-200 bhp is a big jump. 400Nm to 540Nm, ( in gear acceleration would be mindbending. Torque is linear and a 35% increase in torque would result in basically a 35% decrease in acceleration times.) Hi Darling, I'll be home in 10 mins. also just looking at their other applications, they claim to be able to remap a 200/300 tdi defender which doesnt even have an ecu! |

Cheers for the replies... i might stick to a steinbaurer then. Spider hasnt got back to me, so on the side of caution i would be still happy witha 80nm jump of torque
