In honesty, does it matter, you are only advertising the vehicle you have to the world behind you. |

I agree, in fact I'd prefer the no badge option. It can look a little too much IMO "HSE TD4" or "HSE TD4.e" Freelander 2 is enough on one tailgate for me. Also consider the extra cleaning effort required ![]() BY the way, they are easily removed with the use of a hair drier and a length of dental floss. cheers Steve |

I once took the badges off an old car using two spoons at the 9 and 3 o'clock position - the sticky foam left came off with a gentle polish with a cut in it - A hairdryer sounds OK though as you will be softening the glue.

Yes, warm up with a hair dryer, a bit dental floss behind and pop it off follow with a clean off the residue with a little polish - job done! In your case you can probably get away with just removing the "G" and ordering an "H" and an "E" from the parts dept ![]() Anyone good at anagrams? F, r, e, l, a, n, d, r, T, X, S, G, H, 2, 4 - have I missed any letters? Fred 2 ? allan 4 ? Excuse me, I'll get my coat Steve |

Is removing the badge and not wanting people to know you have a lesser spec vehicle, worse than wanting to leave the badge on so people know you have a HSE?? Phil |

I'm not sure I care, but if pressed I would probably say Yes, not worse but maybe "possibly misleading" or less honest. I personally think i'd like the choice to own a HSE without advertising the fact. Those that know the marque will probably recognise the model by the various features anyway, those that are not familiar with Freelanders wont even notice. I've owned many diesel powered cars including BMWs and was always proud of the d on the badge You wont see many BMW 330i's or higher debadged but plenty of 318s and 320ds Cheers Steve |
