We had ours fitted as part of the car purchase (But obviously paid more than say Towsure or an independent fitter), but wanted the removable type which costs more again ! The general opinion is that if you use an independent fitter you'll have to take it to LR for them the configure an ECU for towing (dash warning light etc) which you won't get any change from about £40 for.

Ok great thanks. I will bear it in mind - if it needs LR config then it is probably easier to just go there. Will check out Brink though too! |

If you live anywhere near Chester go to Chester Towbars who can fit and reprogramme and even give you a note to put in your service book to remind the service department that it has been done.
