The weather - Again!

The pic says it all.

Taken at 4.15pm today and the forecast 60cm of snow in the next 36 hours. Deep joy!

Yes, you are right! In anycase, I have an uncanny knack of putting the cars away when it doesnt snow/ice and leaving them out when it does.

Funny thing is we hadn't quite lost the snow from the week before Christmas. almost, but there were still piles of the stuff kicking about. The last week cleared a lot up, despite the fact the temperatures were down to minus 15. Now this and we will be into March soon. and people wonder why you want to move to a place with better weather? Yes, it's very pretty, but I am fed up to the back teeth with it now.

Anyone for old furniture or alloys?

I'd take a 'rain check' on that one in honesty. Forecast is really crap. Schools closed etc. This morning we had an electric cut for a couple of hours. Thankfully, it came back on.

Hello Lar hope your well,
Weather - It is nice weather (rain, sun, snow, temperature - the weather is cold/warm)
Whether - Used to introduce the first of two alternatives or choices - I don't know whether to buy a Freelander or a Range Rover.
Keep up the good work Thumbs Up

Hi,

It's normally cold, minus 5-15C is expected, but we are usually snow free at this time of year or not far off it.

When living in Lochaber in 1984, I remember very heavy snow. It was so bad that even a Snow Plough got stuck up the hill. We went up to free the driver and his mate in a Snow Cat. The snow markers at the side of the road were covered, so that would have been at least 6' deep. Thats the worse I can remember.

Here in the North of England, on Tuesday we had about 50mm of snow but as yesterday afternoon and today are warmer (5/6/7 degrees) it has almost gone.
Further North in Scotland (Carnoch) they have had it very bad and it is still snowing with weather warnings on the TV and Radio.
It is usual to have some snow but I think this year it has been the worst we have had for a long time, some people do it and it is a good idea but I suppose because of it not being too bad or staying very long, we do not normally change our tyres for the winter conditions Thumbs Up
