The bluetooth set up is hopeless unless you have specific phones. I have the parrot in my other vehicles which works very well but the FL2 one is a pain. I have a Nokia 6650 & is OK for incoming calls but if you try & make a call via the dash it freezes the phone & that is it - you may as well switch it off. it is very very frustrating - how hard can it be to match up the firmware of modern up to date phones? It's only bluetooth at the end of the day

Never quite got to the bottom of why it is the case, but most in Car bluetooth solutions have glitches with certain phones. I have a BMW with bluetooth that would speak to my SE phone brilliantly, Nokia 6310 fantastic, Motorola RAZR yep, the 3G RAZR - Forget it.

Well thankfully i didn't pay £400, afaik that is the retail price - i actually paid nothing and, as i have now learned, you get what you pay for... i can't wait to fork out for an iphone in the summer when my contract is up |

Not much help probably, but my N96 works fine. You have to download the phonebook to the car by 'sending' it from the phone as it doesn't download automatically, but other than that no problems. Mind you I may go the iPhone route when my contract comes up for renewal as Vodaphone offer it as well now. |
