Does anyone use a cb radio in their freelander 2? any issues with interference etc? |

had one on all my landies so far including a freelander 1. great for travelling in a group or when greenlaning etc. also use them around on farms to talk between vehicles. |

The CBs are also widely used around Europe by the truck drivers.

Interesting!! I had one back in around 1981/2 then gave it to my Dad. I can still remember what it was - York JCB963. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

I'm not old enough to have had one when they were so popular but I enjoy using it even with all the technology around today! |

Yes CB works ok in Freelander 2, no issues with interference. Remember there are never problems, just new challenges |

I have a portable one which doesn't require any install. I used it with its own antenna and it's ok if you just want to communicate in a compact group. If you want to hear and be heard over a longer distance, you need an external antenna. |

hi i put my cb in the glove box loose on the way to cornwall this year had a couple of issues where when i keyed up i had a screeching sound from near the area it was in, i moved the cb to the front of the glove box and problem went put it down to radation interferance poss with electrics roud glove box area rainy-city
