I used the low beam to power the relay coil, maybe its that the relay coil you use dont draw enough power which triggers flasing action. As you mentioned that you took power for the relay coil from a AFS circuit I assume its powered by another transistor, and it looks like these transistors dont like it when you take very small amount to power.

I think if you could take a feed from the side light to power the relay coil then you will not have this issue as you have 5w bulb on the circuit preventing the flashing . Aslo when you leave the lights in auto then side lights come at the same as as the head lights making it a very good workaround. Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto

OK, I quite like the way it's wired in now as I like DRL's and that's kind of what I have now Thumbs Up

Think I'll leave it "as is" and go down the fix and reprogram route Thumbs Up

Good idea, so you have your own DRL's now. Thumbs Up
When you get the faulty CJB back, if you can please take a picture of the inside, really like to see it. Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto

Italy 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 HST Manual Santorini Black
thanks...

Read all the topics and resolved my problem...not necessary a new JCB.
I don't understand the reason but i resolved. Clean all the pins, off the battery 15 min, change some led bulbs (number plate and interior led) to normal bulbs (maybe other led short circuit cant't reset some errors in the JCB memory).
Tkanks to all...
Multumesc Alex
