Exhaust pipe finisher

Anybody got a view on the tailpipe finisher on ebay that I am looking at compared to the genuine LR product:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...K:MEWAX:IT
Now the spoiler is on the back looks super but is spoilt by the drainpipe coming out of the bottom.
I know its bling but that's the kind of guy I am. Ralph

RalphK, just a warning, if you fit that style of Tailpipe your exhaust will exit on to the front of your van instead of down on towards the ground like the LR one does.
Just an observation. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

Don't take any notice of them, they are all blingers at heart Laughing
I guess the exhaust will still exit downwards and the rearwards pointing tailpipe is only for visual effect Question

However I have often wondered why diesel exhausts are directed downwards Embarassed There must be a reason for this design Question 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc.

AndyC, the genuine LR one still exits down but as you say the visual effect looks as though it exits out the rear, but the Tatbay one in the link is just an diversion of the original tail pipe ad exits outwards and not down.
The reason they do not exit straight out the rear is because I once got serious earache when starting up our old TD5 which was adapted to blow it straight out and swmbo was stood there. Embarassed p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior
