It is coming from the outside, both up and down movement of the suspension make the sound. Driving slow or fast one hears it over rough road - not a dump but rough road. |

Then, if outside sound, and for both up and down movements, could be the bushes/clamps of the stabilizer bar. Or its ball joints. |

It's a well know fact that in Halewood, Liverpool, where the FL2 is made, the cheeky scousers (read native Liverpool people) drop small coins into the front right hand corner of the vehicles shell on left hand drive vehicles to annoy the new foreign owners.

It is not coins - it is suspension - my take was the same as above - stabilizer bushing or ball joint. I suspect it is the stabilizer bushing since the washer and nut were replace. The technical advisory said to check for thread wear as well. Thanks all |

Check that the rubber bush has not become displaced from the stabiliser bar allowing the bar to tocuht eh bracket on larger wheel movements. If the wheel alignment ahas been changed - check all fixings for tightness too while you're underneath Gone... 2013 XS TD4 Manual Firenze Red

Sorry Jazbeach, it was a joke on our side, a little british humour. Hope you get your problem sorted. Don't put petrol in a diesel. They don't run well. |

I think it's to do with the difference between left and right hand drive cars. I've got a rattle that comes from the front left...but i've got used to ignoring her!!!!
