I think it may be hard to explain what the TR will do and the difference it makes but over the last month with the TR set to for the weather we had to be able to select the correct setting and just excellerate away with minimal fuss was fantastic, the look on other drivers faces whilst they were struggling to gain traction was worth it alone. Along with the better resale value in a few years time.

I was told in the trade to never buy a lower model and spec it up, always go for the higher model(even Limited editions) When it comes to resale the car will get valued on its model and if you have a GS with leather you are unlikly to get any extra for the leather however if you have a model or limited edition that comes with leather then that model will command a higher premium at resale. |

Good advice however alot of "ex demos" are ex Land Rover owned company cars which is not a problem as all manufacturers do this but beware of buying silver or red as the could have been Land Rover Experience cars so ask the question. |

true, many extras will loose all their value come trade in time, leather though keeps a certain buyer appeal so may keep a good part of its value. possibly At work

That is why I bought it, took the tow bar off, sold it for £300, plus the car went up in value to the tune of £3,500. Not bad money for undoing a few bolts and cutting a couple of wires. 09 FL2 HSE auto Lago Grey 71 Triumph Stag 3L 68 NGTCV8 3.5L |

But if it has been towing it will not have been thrashed as it would have been driven very slowly as you keep reminding us CG p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

If you are really concerned with resale, don't buy new, unless you can get a good bit knocked off rrp. Which would you regret the most....the slightly worse resale of the GS, or driving around for the next 2/3 years in the basic spec? Phil |

If resale value is important to you, get a car that is 6 months - 1 year old to remove a big chunk of the problem, and get a higher spec (e.g. XS)... |
