£220 is a fair price for roof rails to be honest as I remember going back to 2003 if had to buy roof rails on my 75 Tourer they were £225 (luckily they were standard fit) so 7 years on £220 isn't too bad though they SHOULD be standard on at least the HSE model. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

I suspect many people don't have them like the xenon lights because they think they have paid enough (too much) allready. I guess we all have oppinions but IMO they make the vehicle look bigger & finish it off plus they are good for grabbing onto to clean the roof lol. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

B/S - if you can afford this car you can afford roof rails and they will mostly be fitted on the car at the factory. When I went hardly any FL2's had roof rails proving my point, I'd say one in 50.

If you want 'em you will pay for them - as you have and the other forum members that require them have done.

Xenon's are a different kettle of fish - having them as standard is a genuine upgrade.

Do you have something against Front bumper styling covers, Driving lamp pods, Front light gaurds, Front & Rear body styling thingys in RIM-IN-ME RED, chrome exhaust finishers, chrome fender vents, chrome mirror backs, Colour-coded door handles, Roof rails, Front mud flaps, Side steps,19"Tripple Sport Alloys, Premium wood dash trim kits and more besides?

I think colour coded wheels would finish the look of with a "tarmac & block paving" sign.
