Off road protection

Does anyone know of this "sump guard" from Matt Savage? It looks as if it is identical to the Freelander, but thinner. Has anyone got it mounted on his car?

Yes, I can see that the picture regarding Freelander2 is a Freelander. It's when stupid that they do not have a proper picture, I have a suspicion that "sump guard" is not for our car.

Watching their site (home page), on the left under "show all products for" option, you can search for all of the products they make for the Freelander 11. Confused I suppose they mean Freelander II ...

All I can find then is a sump guard for the FL 1, and "Sand tracks & bridging ladders"

Mantec has the same sump guard - with the same (wrong) image and the same Product Lines:

Freelander Sump Guard (3-SPG-FLR)
Available for both Freelander 1 and 11 in aluminium.

The Freelander 1 blade is manufactured in 8mm aluminum and the Freelander 2 model in 6mm both using high grade aluminium.
Designed to replace the existing Land Rover sump guard.

3-SPG-FLR Freelander 1 Sump Guard -
3-SPG-FLR/07 Freelander 11 (359) Sump Guard

That is 2mm difference in thickness, on the LR2 is 6mm and the Old Freelander is on 8mm, but the price is the same??
I do not think it's normal. Hi bjartin, I have a sump guard from Matzker Germany since 1 year and I´m very satisfied with the quality. 6mm aircraft-aluminium fixed with 4 solid screws in original holes.

These are the only ones I know of for the FL2 in the UK. I don't have them, but they were fitted to the Land Rover Experience car I drove.

Firstly the link is the maufacturer, which means the price is highly unlikely to be correct as most places discount by 20% in the LR world on accessories because competition for custom is so high, also its in euros... Rolling Eyes I appear to be addicted to Landrovers...
