did I get a bargain

I just recently purchased my FL2 fro the LR dealer in Lewes - does anyone else think it was a good price, or not Sad

2006 SE, manual, Tow Bar, sunroof, SAT NAV, cold climate pack (?), half leather, FSH,m 1 owner, 23,000 miles, 1 years road tax.
Naturally, they serviced it, stamped the service book, and 1 year LR warranty.

all for a few quid under £15k

Just curious people.....

seems a fair price, the orange ones do loose value a bit faster than the more 'conventional ' colours. Thumbs Up At work

I paid £13,995 from a dealer on an 07' XS with 22,000 miles in February last year. IIRC it was near the time all the talk was going back and forth about the Road Tax increases going silly they've crept up in price since then

Prices last feb were rock bottom, about that time My dealer had a D3 TDV6 GS un-reg'd for £26,995 and a RRS SE for £38,995 wish I'd have jumped then but was only offered £12k for my 57 GS with sport kit and shadow chromes(was 15 mths old then with 20k miles)

Don't get hung up on what people have paid it's not healthy Exclamation

They could have bought when the UK was in it's knees with the credit crunch or dealer meeting targets

the point you should be looking at is the fact you PAID for it, so YOU must have been HAPPY with the price Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Saw that offer before - mine has a sunroof, so they are not suitable.
Shame as this is all I want to pay.

Will have to keep looking

oh, Very Happy with my LR

Just lucky to have the cash and the deal at the same time. don't think I was even offered finance, not that I wanted it.

But my opinion is the depression will last another 3 years, it's only the Press that are saying it's like a flu bug. That being so, more bargains are just round the corner, it's just the Dealers don't know it yet.
