2009 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Rimini Red
DO they want to sell cars or not

I am contining to scout around for a replacement car whether it be another Freelander 2 or a discovery 3 but it would appear my biggest issue is getting information and ring backs.

If you have dealt with someone then suddenly only they can sepak to you even if you only want to ask about minor things and of course they always busy and never ring you back...

You would have thought in present climate that they would chase every lead they have but in my experience apparently not.

I look at other cars in desperation but they just don`t match up to Landrover especially in Nose weight etc...

Well i`ll keep trying - hope you guys are having more luck and worst of the Bunch is a certain company in Leeds

Try www.lookerslandroverlondon.co.uk or www.charleshurstlondon.co.uk both of which will go through to the same address. We share the site with our Battersea branch, therefore please when prompted please click on 'Park Royal'.

It is fair to say that we are very short of stock, having sold 8 used Freelanders since Friday morning.

Kind regards,

James Thumbs Up

I found the same with my local dealer - i visited them before xmas and was given a brochure saying i was looking for a FL2 in the new year, webt in last week to find several salesmen doing nothing, but not one came over! i eventually got "seen" but was just thrust another brochure and told they couldnt possibly show me any or let me test drive one, it would have to be another day, i was even asked if i had a part-ex, i said yes its outside, to which the response was, well bring it with you when you come back!

Cheeky gits, crap service. Its a common theme with LR dealers, they are ofen appauling and sadly the few good ones are always a very long way away. I appear to be addicted to Landrovers...

TD5 D-Lander hopefully finished soon!
FL2....this year with any luck!

I have never had service like that when serious about buying

Have a chat with their sales manager and point out you had X amount to spend and after their attitude your wznting to give them chance to put there best offer before you go round the corner to another dealer Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I do hope JLR read this forum and start taking action against shoddy dealers. There are plenty of good firms out there - many of the ex MGRover ones I'm sure would love to get a LR franchise. Many of them were par excellance

Thankfully I have never had any of these problems with the Dealers near me, Beadles of Sidcup or Harwoods of Edenbridge, both were very attentive and always followed up with calls.
Come down south the dealers seem better Very Happy 09 FL2 HSE auto Lago Grey
