Removing Side Protection Tubes

My ex-demo FL2 has Side protection Tubes which I want to remove. Taking the tubes off is easy (4 nuts each side) but you're left with 2 large bolts sticking below the sill. Has anyone got any details about how to remove them?

Look at http://www.ownerinfo.landrover.com/

It shows you how to install them, follow the instructions backwards Laughing

Thanks npinks. Looked there, but do you have to subscribe to get the info? Is it in the Workshop Manual section?

Select

Freelander 2
Then look under the ""Accessory Fitting Instructions"

then "Continue"

the side protection tube are are at the bottom of the list is brings up,

they open in a new window, and a PDF format so you will require Adobe Acrobat reader (most PC have this nowadays)

I also found the fitting instructions for the rubber mats on that site. What a relief, I had been struggling with their installation since new. Turns out they go inside the vehicle!
