Bluetooth auto connect or not?

Hi all, Is there a way to get your phone to auto connect to the bluetooth system when you get into the car or do you have to re-pair up the phone every time you get into the car? My Jag connected every time without having to log on so I cannot see why the Freelander wont Crying or Very sad

Yes the FL2 will auto connect. You have to set the pre paired phone to remember its connection. Something like,

"Always authorise this connection or Automatically connect device"

In the bluetooth pair section of your phone. 08 FL2 SE TD4 manual,Santorini Black, Factory fitted Black Tinted Glass, Anti-Tesco Trolly Side Protection, bebe confort axiss carseats & Cargo barrier to stop twin's buggy & junk coming through. NO Sweets Crisps or Drinks inside.
WITH TWINS, YOU DON'T HAVE MONEY Smile Now towing a Abbey Vouge 650 1800kg

Mine pairs automatically every time.

You can also have a number (six I think) of phones stored in the "memory". I have it set so that I can switch between different phones. Sometimes my wife wants to drive my car and on the very rare times I agree to it, she just moves the dial to tell it to syn with her phone which then automatically pairs with it. '09 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto

As Alona says, it is in your phone settings, nothing to do with any settings on your Fl2. Thumbs Up p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

Mine pairs every time but I can't have phone book unless as I have done bluetooth all the contacts over but even then the in-car call memory doesn't work. I have a Nokia 6650 & according to LR it is not on their list of approved phones - typical as I sold my latest upgrade a Nokia N75 on ebay which is compatable lol!

The problem with bluetoothing the contacts over is that if you add another contact to the phone that has to be sent again & again & so on. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
