AndyC my brothers been looking at winter tyres and although they had no stock they sId that you can just put them on the front tyres with it been 2 wheel drive  Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I have never heard of just putting them on the driving wheels

I thought it was always recommended to fit the same type regardless whether they were summer, winter or all weather (year) tyres  2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
