Have asked Mantec technical when ordering the rear ladder, they are reluctant to produce a raised air intake becuase of the indicator in the intake grill.

checked and ......... its just cosmetic...... For the record mines an early 2008 GS so change will have been made after that? There's always a way forward! 2008 Freelander Td4 GS - Stornoway Grey - Now Gone - Sob 2011 Freelander Td4 GS 150 - Rimini Red - in its place - Better x far x 4!! |

Mine is a 08 got it in March 08. It was just of the production line though as Santorini black was only just then out. Freelander 2 XS 2.2 TD4 Met Black, with Winter pack, 18" alloys with General Grabber AT2 wellies, MANTEC Sump and Tank Guards |

it would have thought it would be easy to make a air intake taking into account the indicators, you just need to have a sealed insert on the outer snorkel and a cable extention

Agreed! Although a bit less of the bashing and a bit more of the boshing.… its a bit gentler Freelander 2 XS 2.2 TD4 Met Black, with Winter pack, 18" alloys with General Grabber AT2 wellies, MANTEC Sump and Tank Guards |
