i can't open my rear doors (i don't used the child locks) until i have unlocked the front doors by either getting out or by pressing the dash board unlock button Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

...ah, thought of that: even after pressing the unlock-all (fob or dashbaord), the door handles in the rear still refuse to play ball!

I'm not acquainted with all the permutations of the door locking system, but I do know that if I let people out of the rear seats (dropping friends off etc.) I usually have to unlock the doors with the dash button. They are then able to exit normally with the interior levers. Your experiences do differ from mine and your car is the same model, similar era, so I would expect the same behaviour.

You're not alone with this. My rear doors won't open from the inside no matter whether the child locks are activated or not. Having no kids I've learnt to live with it but it's a pain in the a |

Page 44 of the manual describes how to unlock the rear doors using the door buttons located above the door lever. |

For "children locks" in my manual it is page P44 under "Child Safety" and P19 under "Locks" for instructions re the rear doors (enabling /disabling).
